HBC Cradle

The HBC (Handset-Based Console) Cradle is a bracket for attaching the handset-based console into a vehicle and features an integrated magnet to hold the HBC3 firmly in place and for off-hook detection. The cradle is AMPS-compliant (30 x 37mm), for use with commercially-available brackets and accessories.

The HBC3 is Sepura's Handset-Based Console, designed to extend the improved user experience of Sepura's popular hand-portable radios to the SRG3900 and SCG22 mobile range. Clear and user-friendly, featuring a colour user-interface consistent with Sepura's SC20, SC21 handheld radios, the HBC3 boasts a unique shortcut/notification bar to alert users to missed calls or messages, as well as major changes in the radio's operational state. Like the SC20, the consoles feature three context keys, creating an intuitive user experience and helping to reduce training costs.

Installation

The HBC (Handset-Based Console) Interface Box is required to connect the HBC to the SRG3900/SCG22 and attaches to the HBC cradle. Mic and PPT can also be connected. Part no. 300-00670

SRG/SCG Hands-Free Kit (Console)

Audio

This kit provides a remote microphone and a remote PTT button with a programmable soft key, and connects to the rear of the console or AIU using a 10-way Hirose connector. The microphone lead is supplied crimped but un-terminated to allow routing of the wires. A plug in link is supplied if the hands-free is installed alone i.e. no handset or fist microphone. Please note: this kit is suitable for use with SCC3, HBC3 and AIU consoles. It can only be used with an AIU if no other audio accessory is required. Part no. 300-00079
