IP67 Ultra Controller Speaker Microphone (Ultra CSM)

With environmental sealing and a tough, polycarbonate shell, the rugged Ultra CSM (Controller Speaker Microphone) features Water Porting® to deliver outstanding all-weather performance and superlative audio, no matter how harsh the conditions.

The rich feature set delivers unrivalled access to a belt-worn or otherwise concealed Sepura handset, with multiple PTT, volume, emergency and softkeys plus a convenient rotary knob for rapid talkgroup selection. Its ergonomic design ensures unobstructed operation, even with gloved hands or in poor light.

The IP67 Ultra CSM has all the features of the IP67 Ultra RSM, as well as a talkgroup rotary control.

For certain markets, particularly the fire sector, it has been found that an extended PTT button is required to enable access of the PTT switch when the CSM/RSM is worn under protective clothing. To assist with this we offer an extended PTT assembly which attaches to the CSM/RSM housing.

This compact microphone fits easily into most helmet types to provide hands-free communication in hazardous conditions. The unit consists of a bone-conducting microphone and a small speaker which attaches to the radio via the STP8X Advanced RSM or the STP8X large-button PTT, and is terminated with a four pole, NEXUS jack plug.
