Remote-Short-Stalk Mic

The Remote Short-Stalk Mic provides a surface-mounted microphone option for Sepura radios. An additional interface unit (EIU or AIU) may be required for full functionality. The microphone is supplied with a 5m lead, terminated in a 2-pole 3.5mm jack.

Installation

The Application Interface Unit (AIU) performs all the audio, PEI and digital I/O access functions of the console. With no display or keypad, it is a light, compact unit requiring minimal installation space. The AIU can be used when audio and data input/output are required without needing a console, or if a console is fitted but more than two audio accessories are required.
