STP8X Lightweight Headset with In-Line PTT

Ideal for use in low-noise conditions, this lightweight headset provides one active earpiece, leaving the other ear uncovered to increase awareness of the surrounding environment, and a fully adjustable boom microphone. The headset can be worn on its own or underneath protective headgear.

The headset has an in-line PTT switch and is terminated with a Rugged Side Connector (RuSC) for direct connection to the STP8X handset.

This product is now discontinued. Similar functionality can be achieved by combining an alternative ATEX-approved headset like the STP8X Lightweight Headset with an STP8X Large button PTT.

Please note: For use in hazardous environments the Rugged Side Connector (RuSC) cover must be in place or an approved RuSC accessory must be securely connected. Removal of the cover, or disconnection of the approved RuSC accessory is not permitted in hazardous environments.
