Where we work

Our office is designed to inspire and deliver innovation. It houses dedicated R&D labs, including a semi-anechoic chamber and testing facilities, as well as our repairs centre and warehouse. Our onsite restaurant and relaxed breakout areas provide the perfect balance for productivity and downtime. Situated by a lake and nature reserve, we also have private decking for team barbecues and social events.

Our Research and Development Hub

Our R&D Hub boasts a 150-strong team of talented engineers, designers, and technicians, all working together to create innovative products and solutions that shape the future of communications. Our facilities include:

Semi-anachoeic chamber

The chamber allows us to simulate real-world conditions, ensuring superior audio performance and reliability in every product. We conduct extensive testing and simulate various challenging environments such as extremely noisy airports, mining operations, and crowds at events and carnivals. Through these rigorous simulations, we ensure delivery of exceptional quality and clarity in critical communications, no matter the environment.

Mechanical testing labs

Our labs are equipped with everything needed to test our devices to the extremes. We use powerful water jets, drop tests, tumble tests, and temperature variations (oven and freezer) to ensure our products can withstand any conditions. Our equipment and testing rigs are designed and created based on our team's extensive experience and feedback from customers, reflecting real-world usage and scenarios. This rigorous testing ensures that our devices deliver reliable performance in any environment.

Powerful 3D printer

We are proud of our exceptional in-house mechanical expertise and embrace advanced technologies like our 3D printer—the first of its kind in Europe. This capability helps us create custom-designed solutions that precisely match our customers' unique needs. It allows us to deliver unparalleled quality and innovation, accelerating product development and enabling rapid production, iteration, and testing of 3D models.

Subsidised on-site restaurant

Enjoy delicious food, snacks and drinks at our subsidised on-site restaurant. Choose from a variety of fresh and nutritious options for breakfast and lunch, along with a selection of coffee, all conveniently available without leaving the office. Our culture of taking a lunch break away from the desk is widely adopted, and the flexible restaurant space is perfect for informal meetings and social events.

Easy access for commuters

The Cambridge Research Park is located just outside Cambridge (Waterbeach), offering quick and easy access to the A10 and A14. Local bus services run to Cambridge and Ely, and a free shuttle operates between Cambridge Research Park and Cambridge North Station. We offer free parking for cars and bikes and charging for electric vehicles, ensuring you have a hassle-free start and end to your day.
